Our method

How we review supplements

Every review follows the same steps, so you can compare products fairly. Here is exactly what we do and how the rating works.

1. The label is the source of truth

We download the official product images and read the Supplement Facts panel directly: serving size, servings per container, each disclosed dose, the proprietary blend total and the other ingredients. When the sales page and the label disagree, we follow the label and point out the difference.

2. Doses are compared with research

For each key ingredient we check what amounts were used in studies, using public, non-commercial sources such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Research on a single ingredient is not proof that a finished formula works, and our reviews say so.

3. Price, shipping and refunds

We record the prices shown on the official checkout on the day of the review, calculate the cost per day for each package, and read the refund policy, including how many days it lasts, whether you must use the product for a minimum time, and how to request it.

4. Safety notes

We flag stimulants such as caffeine, ingredients known to interact with medication, and groups who should speak to a doctor before using the product.

How the rating works

Each review scores five areas: ease of use, refund policy and billing, label transparency, value for money, and dosing compared with research. The final rating summarizes those scores, and the review always explains where the product loses points.

Keeping reviews up to date

Prices, packages and labels change. Every review shows the date it was last checked, and we update it when official information changes.

What we do not do

  • We do not accept payment or free products for a rating.
  • We do not publish testimonials we cannot verify.
  • We do not give medical advice.

Some links on our reviews are affiliate links. Read our affiliate disclosure to understand how that works.
